There's a certain kind of brain wiring, like real neurons attached to different places in the head. Although we all have traces of this wiring here and there, the people with this wiring fully developed are consistently antisocial, their brains are wired in such a way that their normal state of mind is to feel bad, they can only feel pumped if someone else is suffering. This can be caused by emotional or physical trauma anywhere from before birth into childhood as the wires grow. Some of them can be very good at hiding how their minds really operate, they tend to gravitate to situations that make them look like righteous people, and they can sense when other people are like them and network. People who haven't developed the skills to hide this mindset end up in jail or dead.
