Once Trump became the de-facto nominee, the funding for the investigation was assumed by the Hillary Clinton presidential campaign. It eventually resulted in the thoroughly discredited and unsubstantiated document known as the “Steele dossier.”
Although the document was the result of unverified information supplied by questionable Russian sources, assuredly working to undermine the validity of the 2016 election, it was used by the Department of Justice (DOJ) to launch a full-scale investigation into the Trump campaign. The allegation was that Donald Trump was compromised and subject to influence by the Russian government and numerous people in his campaign were engaged in illegal activities, including collusion.
Of course, none of the allegations were true, nothing could ever be proven, and the entire Russian collusion charge was a myth. The Steele dossier was not verified intelligence information, but phony “opposition research” that should have been considered nothing more than a political document.

‘Aggressive confrontation’ between Indian & Chinese troops causes injuries on both sides, reports claim
More than a hundred soldiers were involved in a confrontation along the contentious Indian-Chinese border in the Himalayas, Indian media reported. The encounter allegedly left injuries on both sides.
Citing two high-ranking military sources, the Hindustan Times said that the incident occurred at a mountainous pass at a height of more than 5,000m (16,400ft) along the border with China in India’s northeastern Sikkim State on Saturday.
“Four Indian soldiers and seven Chinese troops suffered injuries during the confrontation that involved around 150 soldiers,” an unnamed officer told the paper, describing the incident as an “aggressive confrontation.”
Indian military sources also confirmed to ANI that the border conflict took place in the northern part of Sikkim, saying that “aggressive behavior and minor injuries occurred on both sides.”
Both outlets reported that the conflict was resolved at a local level.
India and China have several territorial disputes. Standoffs and clashes occasionally happen along the border between Sikkim and China’s Tibet, as well as at the mutually-agreed Line of Actual Control (LAC) in Kashmir, where the nations also share a border.
Beijing and New Delhi have been holding high-level talks to resolve the border issues. Last December, both sides agreed to set up a hotline between the Indian Army and China’s People’s Liberation Army to avoid conflicts along the LAC.

Afghan Forces Kill Senior Taliban Spy in Laghman Province
KABUL (Sputnik) - The Afghan forces have killed one of the Taliban's regional intelligence officers in the eastern province of Laghman, Asadullah Dawlatzai, the provincial governor's spokesman, stated on Sunday.
According to the spokesman, the Afghan forces killed Omar Khater, the Taliban's intelligence chief for the province's Alishang district, as well as injured his right-hand man Fawad Yasir in an ambush that took place in the aforementioned district last night.
The Taliban have not yet commented on the matter.
Clashes between militants and government forces continue in the country despite a mass prisoner release, as Kabul is preparing for intra-Afghan talks with the movement.
This move is a result of a deal between the US and Taliban, which stipulates the withdrawal of American forces from the country after a 19-year campaign. At the same time, the movement pledged to prevent Afghanistan from becoming a safe haven for terrorists.
However, according to Reuters, Taliban militants have carried out more than 4,500 attacks since the signing of the peace deal.

Israeli fighters attack chemical weapons lab inside Syria
Heavy airstrikes struck the Scientific Studies and Research Center, a Syrian government defense laboratory, as well as a military base and warehouse that housed Iranian troops and proxies in Syria. The airstrikes took place at the beginning of this week, according to Syrian state-run media SANA.
Syrian military sources initially told the media that their air defenses thwarted the attack: “Syrian air defenses intercept an Israeli aggression on a research center in Aleppo province,” SANA reported. But then added that they were assessing the damage caused by the raids.
However, the U.K.-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR), which has been monitoring the civil war, said that the weapons warehouses adjacent to the Syrian defense laboratory were rocked by “violent secondary explosions” in the area. There have been no reports of casualties thus far.
The Scientific Studies and Research Center laboratory is believed to be a facility for the development of chemical weapons for Syria the development of which is aided by Iranian researchers.
The Syrians and their Russian allies have denied that they have used chemical weapons but instead blame anti-regime rebels for chemical weapons attacks.
With Russia’s assistance, the regime of Assad has turned the tide in the civil war and has regained nearly all of the territory that it had lost.

U.N. Secretary-General António Guterres said during the Petersberg Virtual Dialogue, a two-day international conference on global warming, in Berlin, Germany that the economic turmoil caused by the coronavirus pandemic presents a “rare and short window of opportunity” to accelerate their globalist 2030 Agenda project.

COVID-19 Doctors Push Back on CDC’s Controversial and Questionable Rules that Inflate Real Coronavirus Numbers
In April the CDC forced states to recount their coronavirus deaths to include confirmed cases and probable cases.
Several states are in the process of reassessing their numbers based on this controversial new rule.
They likely did this because the initial predictions they used included the Imperial College Study out of England that predicted 2 million deaths in the US due to the virus. Of course, the numbers were much less than that. The UK study is now confirmed as a complete fraud.
In mid-April New York state added 3,700 deaths to their numbers to include presumed but not confirmed cases
But now COVID-19 doctors are pushing back against the inaccurate labeling promoted by the CDC.

Turkish-backed Libyan forces prepare to launch big attack
BEIRUT, LEBANON (4:00 P.M.) – Commenting on the battles between the Libyan National Army and Government of National Accord (GNA) forces, Egyptian security expert Khaled Okasha said that “militias and mercenaries” are gathering forces in western Libya.
