Bring the rain.
The Gate of Babylon allows the owner to retrieve anything from the vault of Babylon… Which contains every treasure to ever exist.
I am playing at metaphor, here… But if the wealth of the ages is brought down as rain onto the fields… Then April showers ….?
The economic moves being made are powerful. Many view China and the U.S. as being in a trade war, but this is wrong. The U.S. manufacturing capacity has been scuttled and shoved off onto China. The trade imbalance seemed great, at first, until it became obvious that China was actually a hostage, just as the U.S. was.
As dollars began to flood the Chinese economy, it threatened deflationary collapse of the Yuan. The only way out is to buy U.S. treasury bonds. The Chinese thus had to shield their businesses from wealth through immense taxation/fees (which gave them plenty of their own bloated budget) and then they had get rid of it by buying treasuries… Used to finance the U.S. deficit spending.
It couldn't stop so long as the U.S. was effectively banned from supporting itself. China is building facotories hand over fist and can't meet their own demands… Let alone ours. There is no massive windfall of savings to hit the U.S. consumer. We save maybe 20% while selling out our entire capacity to be free of the government-banking complex.
In order for China to spare itself massive riots over labor conditions, they must be able to free themselves of this system, just as we have wanted to be free of it for some time. But there must be an order. The tarriffs give an opening for U.S. business and investment. CEOs who were allowing the U.S. to be sold have been pressured out and real businessmen have been put back in control as domestic investment booms.
The rain will, if I estimate properly, be an economic falling out that … Is refreshing rather than destructive. A rather magical transition from worthless currency to forms of real money.
