It's all fine and dandy to have electronics in a plane, but it damn well better be flyable if all those electronics are disabled…. and unfortunately our planes aren't flyable with disabled electronics.

BUT we are NOT safe as a foreign military power. My question is- how long would it take us to tool up a factory to produce "antique" airplanes" that aren't dependent on electronics? Or how long would it take us to convert current planes to non-electronic, considering whether it could even be done? For the homeland. a Piper Cub with a mounted AR-15 would strike fear into the enemy… but we can't do that overseas.

Either there is a way to jam them or there's a rouge mechanic or ground crew.
I put my bet on jamming rather than rouge mechanic/ground crew.
4 planes in 1 week should lead back to the same mechanic/ground crew pretty quick.
