An even better approach for me has been slowly convincing liberal friends who were formerly afraid of and against guns, turned into gun owners themselves. One was a big time hiker and he was convinced to get himself a conceal carry gun and license. The other was a girl who bitched me out when she found out I'm always carrying, even inside her house. She owns a couple of AR-15s now and she competes with it in various competitions.
That's honestly the best way to turn the tide. If every gun loving anon can turn just two people over to our side we win. These friends of mine in turn have their own 2 converts.
