That's bullshit. They cannot be questioned for any speech or debate that occurred IN either House (of the government) and I would interpret that to mean while on the floor engaging in speech or debate … not in some hallway lying to the assembled cameras.
They cannot be questioned regarding words said in either House but acts there are not mere words.
