Grenell to Declassify List of Obama Officials Involved in “Unmasking” Flynn in His Conversations with Kislyak

Acting DNI Richard Grenell is about to declassify a list of Obama officials involved in the unmasking of General Mike Flynn in his conversations with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak.

Grenell was seen delivering a satchel of documents to the DOJ last week and according to ABC, he also discussed the list of Obama officials involved in unmasking Flynn.

Acting Director of National Intelligence Richard Grenell has sought to declassify a list of former Obama administration officials who were allegedly involved in the so-called “unmasking” of former national security adviser Michael Flynn in his conversations with the former Russian ambassador during the presidential transition, a senior U.S. official tells ABC News.

Grenell, who remains the U.S. ambassador to Germany along with being the acting DNI, visited the Justice Department last week to discuss the declassification of the list, according to the official.

Recall, General Flynn’s December 2016 phone calls with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak were intercepted and Flynn was illegally unmasked — after Flynn’s identity was revealed, the transcripts of his phone calls were then leaked to the Washington Post.

Flynn’s leaked calls were published by WaPo’s David Ignatius on January 12, 2017 which led to Flynn being fired as National Security Advisor in February of 2017.

Obama’s former NatSec advisor Susan Rice was forced to acknowledge she unmasked Trump’s senior advisors during the transition period, however she maintained it was not politically motivated.

According to previous reports by John Solomon, Obama’s Ambassador to the UN Samantha Power also unmasked hundreds of Americans in Obama’s last year in office.

In fact, Samantha Power sought to unmask Americans on a near daily basis.

Colorado suspends license of restaurant that reopened to packed crowds in defiance of lockdown

Officials in Colorado have suspended the license of a Castle Rock eatery, after the restaurant reopened its dining area over the weekend in defiance of the state's coronavirus lockdown.

C&C Coffee and Kitchen allowed customers into its dining room for Mother's Day on Sunday despite the state's ongoing mandate requiring restaurants to limit their service to delivery and takeout. The restaurant gained national attention after images went viral showing the crowded establishment with people exhibiting little to no social distancing measures.

The restaurant's owner, April Arellano, had announced beforehand that she was reopening despite reportedly being turned in to health officials by a police officer. A passerby also reportedly complained to the local health department about C&C Coffee and Kitchen after seeing its business booming on Sunday.

Arellano explained on Facebook, "[We will] go out of business if I don't do something. [I]f I lose this business, at least I'm fighting."

The Denver Post reported Monday that the Tri-County Health Department ordered C&C Coffee and Kitchen to close, before state health officials stepped in and pulled the restaurant's business license indefinitely.

Gov. Jared Polis (D) announced that C&C Coffee and Kitchen's license would remain revoked for at least 30 days, saying the defiance of his order caused an "immediate health hazard."

The governor said, "I hope, I pray that nobody falls sick from businesses that chose to violate the law. But if the state didn't act and more businesses follow suit, it's a near guarantee that people would lose their lives and it would further delay the opening of legitimate businesses."

After Testing Positive for COVID-19, National Guard Chief Gets Negative Result

The head of the National Guard has tested negative for the novel coronavirus for the second time since learning he had previously tested positive.

Gen. Joseph Lengyel, chief of the National Guard Bureau, received a negative result for COVID-19 at Walter Reed Military Medical Center on Monday, the Guard said in a statement.

Lengyel first tested positive just ahead of Saturday's Joint Chiefs meeting with President Donald Trump. A second test Lengyel took the same day came back negative; officials said he would self-isolate and be screened again "to confirm his negative status."

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has warned that some tests are known to produce false negatives. A patient undergoing a real-time diagnostic panel for COVID-19 and subsequently testing negative could still have the virus, the health agency said in March.

"Thank you to all who have expressed concern for my health and safety," Lengyel said in the statement. "I am happy to continue to focus on the efforts of the 46,000 Guardsmen and women who are battling this pandemic in the 50 states, three territories and District of Columbia."

"General Lengyel is continuing his work focused on the National Guard's efforts to fight COVID-19," said Army Master Sgt. W. Michael Houk, spokesman for the Guard Bureau. "As a whole, the National Guard has implemented COVID-19 risk mitigation measures, including reliance on video teleconferencing in place of in-person meetings, maximum telework, required mask wearing when social distancing measures are impractical, and testing as necessary."

He did not say whether Lengyel will continue to self-isolate.

Meanwhile, Chief of Naval Operations Adm. Mike Gilday is spending the week quarantined after having contact with a family member who tested positive for the illness, a Defense Department official told Military.com on Sunday. Gilday has tested negative but will remain isolated, the official said.

Gilday and Lengyel were not present at the weekend meeting at the White House with the other Joint Chiefs and several cabinet members.

While the military has put social distancing measures in place in addition to mandatory mask-wearing protocols, Trump was not wearing a mask, nor were general officers or Defense Secretary Mark Esper, according to official White House photos.

Guaido's Aides Resign After Facing Charges of Botched Invasion of Venezuela

Venezuelan opposition leader Juan Guaido has accepted the resignation of two of his aides who are currently wanted by Caracas on charges of a botched armed incursion into the country to topple President Nicolas Maduro, Spain's EFE news agency reported on Monday, citing Guaido's office.

It comes after Venezuelan Communications Minister Jorge Rodriguez unveiled last week a 41-page contract worth $213 million between the Venezuelan opposition and private military firm Silvercorp USA to "capture/detain/remove" Maduro. The paper is believed to have signatures of Guaido himself; Sergio Vergara, a member of the opposition-controlled parliament; and Miami-based political consultant Juan Jose Rendon.

Vergara and Rendon have now stepped down as the opposition leader's aides.

On 3 May, Venezuelan authorities announced that they had scuttled an attempt of militants to infiltrate the country from Colombia on speed boats to capture Maduro. Eight suspects were killed and several captured in the counter-operation, among them two US nationals. Maduro identified them as US President Donald Trump's security guards.

Washington and Bogota have denied allegations of involvement in these events, with Colombian Foreign Ministry saying in a statement that the Venezuelan government was just trying to deflect attention from the "internal crisis" in the country.

The political crisis in Venezuela worsened after January 2019, when US-backed opposition leader Juan Guaido illegally proclaimed himself interim president of the country. Maduro, whose presidency has been supported by Russia and China, among others, has denounced Guaido as "a US puppet" who is seeking to stage a coup in Venezuela and seize the country's sovereign assets.

In order to illegally obtain a wiretap on Carter Page so they could get an ear into the Trump campaign, an “FBI lawyer changed a document to deceive the court. They literally, fraudulently changed a document to deceive the court. That’s a crime.”

Solomon is convinced, Durham and his team “will start there and they will wind back.” One domino at a time. “Why did that person do that? Who else was involved and who instructed that and what other intentional acts did we learn about that occurred in the same manner?”
