I just thought of something.

If Obama told Trump (during the transition period) to steer clear from Flynn - don't hire him.

If that's true, does that mean that Obama was completely clueless as to what Trump and team already knew at that time?

It just seems to me that Obama should not say anything about Flynn and just hope for the best. But to warn Trump not to hire him?

Does Obama not know at this point in time that Trump's already well on the [them]?
