How would you raid somebody's house without the neighbors noticing?
And why?
What if nobody tells the press?
No commotion?
All the other bad guys have no idea that person X was arrested, their home searched, evidence removed, and that person X is now under 24hr house arrest with one of the guards sending texts and tweets to make it all seem normal.
How?
I'll tell you.
First you make a big fuss about deploying the National Guard to the border.
They get their gear and trucks together and start travelling in a slow long column
They need to make stops for bathroom breaks, meals, coffee.
Officers role up in jeeps to certain locations to marshal traffic
Everyone sees the National Guard on deployment to the border.
But they fail to notice the SWAT teams in National Guard vehicles parked atthe edge of the marshalling point. They pay no attention when they transfer to municipal utility vehicles and drive off. And nobody even knows that a raid is happening.
Remember, this is War and GW Bush made it possible after 9/11.
Some autists have noticed that the NG wasn't exactly ready to go and is taking a long time getting to the border.
Probably that will be fixed tomorrow.
All the raids happened last night.
In a war, you don't need to follow police procedure with perp walks and jail. You can place the perps in a virtual chain gang where they are forced to put on a theatrical production for the people.
