I've lived with chronic spine pain for the last decade +, neck to lower back. If I want to sleep I have morphine for night time, only way I can get a good nights sleep. They give me vicodin for day time, I can still function with that.
Yes, I use that for phantom pain, when it comes. Sometimes I can still feel my missing foot, but it's not all the time. It's a buzzing sensation, like an itch on my heel, but it's not there… That was from an accident.
