Here's how fake news works with our 'scientists' to deliberately deceive.

Yahoo published an article recently that says HCQ failed to help patients as reported by two studies. For most people, that's the end of the story - fake news delivered!! (and no mention both studies were conducted in New York either).

However, looking into the first study by New England Journal of Medicine, we learn that "We compared outcomes in patients who received hydroxychloroquine with those in patients who did not, using a multivariable Cox model with inverse probability weighting according to the propensity score". More interestingly, though, Hydroxychloroquine-treated patients were more severely ill at baseline than those who did not receive hydroxychloro-quine (median ratio of partial pressure of arterial oxygen to the fraction of inspired oxygen, 223 vs. 360). So - this study proves HCQ doesn't work on the sickest people compared to those who aren't as sick - but that's not much of a study if you ask me. FAKE SCIENCE #1.

The second study from the Journal of the American Medical Association omits zinc with their HCQ + azithromycin regimen which is needed for HCQ + A to be most effective. Even without that detail, and like the study above, among 1438 hospitalized patients with a diagnosis of COVID-19 (858 [59.7%] male, median age, 63 years), those receiving hydroxychloroquine, azithromycin, or both were more likely than those not receiving either drug to have diabetes, respiratory rate >22/min, abnormal chest imaging findings, O2 saturation lower than 90%, and aspartate aminotransferase greater than 40 U/L. Once again - the sicker patients got the drug (minus the needed zinc) and sure enough, results were not significant. FAKE SCIENCE #2.

No study was conducted with hydroxychloroquine + azithromycin + zinc, no double blind was used so no one knows who is getting what, and the treatment was never evenly distributed across the range of severity so as not to skew the results. Both of these medical associations are pursing political goals, not medical goals.

That's how it works. Don't be lazy - THINK FOR YOURSELF and don't become a victim to the FAKE SCIENCE + FAKE NEWS conspiracy!
