I lost it on some of my friends the other day. They aren't dems or trump haters - but… How do I describe it… When you have known people for decades and they have constantly seen you proven correct about geopolitics and trends… And they guffaw at your conspiracy talk amid an obvious fucking conspiracy to shut down our economy and starve us to death if they can….
You just have to go "okay, we have nothing at all to talk about for the next year or more. I'm not going to sit here and play "I don't understand why a government full of psychopaths would not act in a manner that benefited the nation…"
Everyone has been so conditioned to not think critically. And most of these people were ones I was in gifted education programs with back in school. So we are the smart ones, or supposed to be. Granted, I was a black sheep among them, even - but it's like trying to describe sight to a blind person who is absolutely mystified at your ability to see something before they walk into it and yet this person constantly doubts that you have such an inconceivable power.
In the world of the blind, the one eyed man is not king - he is mocked and ridiculed.
