I have limited experience with Ghidra, but experienced codefag. IF the redactions were placed using software. It's like this redacted part If you know how to remove the layer on top, you can see the txt underneath. The PDF's I've looked at were images. The redaction is physically placed on a printed doc, and then it's scanned in and turned into an image.

I didn't say it's not possible.

I said if the redactions were placed OVER text via software, then yes, it's theoretically possible to remove the redactions.

 

The PDF's I've looked at are JPGs. You can take from that what you want.
