Hear ya.

Grow anon here for many years. It's still weird hearing about the prohibition in the US, being a fellow American but in a state where people medical cannabis has been legal for literally 20 years.

Over taxation and regulation IS driving black market right now. (Black market meaning UnTaxed).

Also, I have yet to be given a valid justification for the state taxation of cannabis. What is their claim? For alcohol and tobacco, the claim is public health, mainly because many deaths are directly attributed to their use.

No one has OD'd or gotten a chronic fatal disease in 5,000 - 10,000 years of known use. Meanwhile properly prescribed AND USED prescription drugs kill over 100,000 Americans PER YEAR.

So, what gives governments the right to tax Cannabis again?
