She claimed in the Hearings transcript all her knowledge on the events came from media during December. The October 28 2016 statement was not mentioned during the hearing.

Perhaps she had contact with some of the NATO officials on the unmasking list prior to the election. Some reports note her resignation was due to wanting US troops (NATO) stationed in eastern Europe. Most of her work from Oct 2015 when she left the DoD to the election was with the Atlantic Council.
