kek definition of amicus brief

It can be argued if it should be allowed but it is currently used in courts.

Frequently, a person or group who is not a party to an action, but has a strong interest in the matter, will petition the court for permission to submit a brief in the action with the intent of influencing the court's decision. Such briefs are called "amicus briefs."

Never seen anything like it.. usually its one scandal for a candidate and they are out. I don't see any way he makes it. I don't consider him the nominee at this point (not practical).
