>>9163191 (LB notable) CoronaVirus Aid Act (HR 748 CARES) introduced Jan 19? WTF?

Before anyone gets too excited, when this was introduced on 1/24/19, it wasn't called CARES Act, nor was it's stated summary to respond to COVID-19. Doesn't mean it wasn't part of their plan to eventually turn it into a massive trillion dollar pandemic relief bill, but I don't think it's the smoking gun anons want it to be. But started out as a 1-page bill called the "Middle Class Health Benefits Tax Repeal Act of 2019"

Here's the summary applied when it was introduced:

Introduced in House (01/24/2019)

Middle Class Health Benefits Tax Repeal Act of 2019

This bill repeals the excise tax on employer-sponsored health care coverage for which there is an excess benefit (high-cost plans). The repeal applies to taxable years beginning after December 31, 2019.
