Let them enough rope to hang themselves.

Judge Emmet Sullivan may be setting the groundwork for deeper revelations as the Deep State desperately expends whatever ammunition it still has on a lost cause.

Do not underestimate your enemy. But let him think you weak when you are powerful. Invite moves that are perceived as high risk but potentially high payback (mistakenly) - like that Hail Mary pass which seemed like a got-nothing-to-lose feel to it. Might pay off big, they think.

But who takes the risk? Who has the most to lose? The most to benefit? Who steps forward and reveals himself and his desperation?

I do not think there is anyone with the skills to transform their losing proposition into victory. But they are playing to squeeze the clock of every last nanosecond.

Drowning at high sea and gasping for one moar breath. Meanwhile who is left in the leaky lifeboat now?

When you realize that they are not going to save you, that you are on your own, that there is no lifeline, then, you might make a deal out of desperation – or even an angry desire for revenge against past masters..

The legal system is now to be shown to have been so corrupted that the abuse of the judicial role will seem like the biggest nonsurprise surprise.

Whether he is a hero or a zero, Judge Emmet Sullivan's latest legal moves will draw out the players with the greatest desperation. To be associated with these moves by grasping the opportunity to shutdown FLYNN and what he stands for is to announce one's desire to hide something of great value to oneself.

There is no prospect of profit in these losing moves. It is all cost.
