Where will the line be drawn, though, on what's legal and what's illegal to consume on the web?

-I think everyone's in agreement that the loli cartoon shit isn't art, and should be illegal.

-I think everyone's in agreement that CP should be illegal everywhere, regardless.

-I think everyone's in agreement that other gore and torture content has zero value, also. However, this one seems to get a pass (to an extent).

What about 18 and over content - specifically porn? What if another country's laws permit content involving 17 year olds engaging in sexual activity to be posted online? If it's on the web, someone from a country whose laws are different might still access it without realizing their definition of "teen" is different than their country's definition. Lots of gray areas if you ask me. Having said that, I'm all for cleaning up the trafficking networks. By the time all this is said and done, It's very likely there won't be any porn networks in operation; especially if nearly every single compromised judge gets replaced (which certainly seems to be the goal, here). The definition of "freedom of speech" is getting a fresh look from a very conservative point of view. By the time it's all over, nudie magazines might just be considered smut, and possibly illegal. Think about that for a moment.

Do you really want local LE to have the ability to pull up your internet search results when you just so happen to have a moment of weakness on xhamster watching consenting adults do some swinging? What about that vid your co-worker sent you of someone getting wrecked by a train?

Things are changing quite rapidly. I don't think many realize what the other side of this shift looks like. It's all good in this anon's opinion, but we're talking a true paradigm shift of epic proportions. Many alive today never knew a world without:

  1. Internet

  2. Liberal definition of Freedom of Speech

  3. Pornography at the click of a mouse

This is going to be a difficult one to fix, and you're still going to get some push back. If your way of fixing this is being OK with LE going around and rounding up adults consuming adult created material and posting that material on the internet for all to see, then we're definitely going to run into some growing pains.
