Taiwan Anon here. Academia Sinica is the name of a Taiwanese outfit in Taipei. It could have spies infiltrating it, but it is loyal to the ROC not the PRC as far as I can tell. So if Academia Sinica has a technology, that means Taiwan has the tech, not that the PRC has the tech.
