Fence and service roads will mean more efficient and fewer patrols along the fence and wear on vehicles, all good long term for the environment.
Crews working on the fence are able to support their families and pay taxes which help support those the governors have told not to work.
They do not complain about adding express lanes to highways. Impacts include construction adjacent to many existing drainage systems, mining of the earth and gravel materials necessary to construct an additional road base, pavement and concrete, delays in traffic during the long construction process, the fact that many express lanes only relieve a small portion of congestion and delays.
