I remember reading an article a few years ago about some jerkoff lobbying to have that NYC shit turned into compost to be used on growing food. Can't remember where I saw it. IIRC, some scheme was involved where taxpayer funds were directed towards it and someone involved in proposing the idea was going to get a kickback.
