I believe that the point of masks is to virtue signal.

It doesn't matter if the masks "work" or not.

They say "I care about YOUR health and therefore I'm a good person".

And lets everybody agree to ignore the fact that most of the people dying are in nursing homes, where apparently they have been ignoring all the shit that the governors have been saying about washing your hands after fingering your asshole in nursing homes or whatever it is.

77% of the deaths in Rhode Island in nursing homes. They'd have a better chance to live if they were wandering the streets homeless with dementia.
