You attack the KING at the middle or end.

So, Grassley was chairing the Senate Finance Committee, what do they do?

United States Senate Committee on Finance

The United States Senate Committee on Finance (or, less formally, Senate Finance Committee) is a standing committee of the United States Senate. The Committee concerns itself with matters relating to taxation and other revenue measures generally, and those relating to the insular possessions; bonded debt of the United States; customs, collection districts, and ports of entry and delivery; deposit of public moneys; general revenue sharing; health programs under the Social Security Act (notably Medicare and Medicaid) and health programs financed by a specific tax or trust fund; national social security; reciprocal trade agreements; tariff and import quotas, and related matters thereto; and the transportation of dutiable goods.[1] It is considered to be one of the most powerful committees in Congress

Lots of interesting areas covered by this committee of which I highlighted a few more interesting ones knowing what we know now

Seems maybe that Graham was just a placeholder until Grassley came back to his usual job. Judging from what Graham said, “Love Chuck Grassley. That’s the way the Senate works,” Graham said. “He took the Finance Committee so I could be chairman, and he’ll come back and fill out his time, and I’ll come back, and somebody else will come along.” Grassley took the Finance committee so that Graham could be chairman. Why? Apparently, "Senate Republicans allow their members to chair a committee for six years in total, regularly leading to rounds of musical chairs as senators face committee term limits."

Also, Grassley has more seniority on the Judiciary Committee than Graham. Graham added that the Iowa Republican is “a very special friend” who has two more years in which he could be chairman of the Judiciary Committee.

If I read this right, Grassley was approaching his time limit for being Judiciary chairman, seems to have about 2 years left. I wonder if the switch was to allow Grassley to do some other things regarding borders etc and stop the clock for the last 2 remaining years to be used at the proper time.

Here is an interesting thought.

What if…

The, "intel community," was using Hoovering tactics to spy on anybody that they felt could be useful for them? If they wanted someone bad enough but couldn't dig anything up, next step would probably be to see if they could set them up with things like Epstein and his honeypot setup, and of course the complicit media could be used at any time if thought effective.

Power achieved by any and all means.
