Seems to be depicting the figure of varying metals shown Daniel (Chapter 2), head of gold (Chaldea), chest and arms of silver (Persia), thighs of bronze (Greece), and bottom iron (Rome, ancient), with feet of iron and clay (Rome and the apostate priesthood of Jerusalem). The Stone from Heaven (Christ Jesus) is destroying the feet the figure needs with which to stand. Judgment began first with His house, and Christ's first advent was indeed during the time of Rome when Rome was ruling over Judah.
