After Friday's inauguration, Barack and Michelle Obama are to leave the Capitol by helicopter for a departure ceremony at Joint Base Andrews, said Navy Commander Jonathan Blyth, a spokesman for the joint task force overseeing the military's participation in Trump's inauguration.
The Obamas will board Air Force One, but the plane's call sign will be re-designated since he will no longer be commander in chief, Blyth said. Jarrett wouldn't say where the Obamas are bound.
