In "The Book of the Law", supposedly Alister Crawley's Satanic prophecies, chapter 3 says:

"4. Choose ye an island!

1. Fortify it!

1. Dung it about with enginery of war!

1. With it ye shall smite the peoples; and none shall stand before you.

1. Lurk! Withdraw! Upon them! this is the Law of the Battle of Conquest: thus shall my worship be about my secret house."

And

" 12. Sacrifice cattle, little and big: after a child."

These all seem relevant to Epstein's Island.
