Biden Trails Trump in FIFTEEN Battleground States
Biden has taken a dip in the polls nationally once the Tara Reade sexual assault allegation began getting some (albeit extremely limited) mainstream media attention. Interestingly enough his approval dropped more among men than woman, but that could simply be because men tend to be more inclined to lean Republican to begin with.
More believe Reade than Biden, though most remain undecided. According to Rasmussen Reports, 34% of Likely U.S. Voters believe Tara Reade’s accusation that Biden sexually assaulted her in 1993. The likely Democratic presidential nominee has denied the claim, but only 24% think he is telling the truth. A sizable 41% are undecided.
Furthermore, Biden suffers from the problem that nobody voting for him actually seems to want to vote for him. Just take a look at the gap in voters claiming to be “very enthusiastic” supporters of their candidate in past presidential elections:
• 2020 – Joe Biden: 29-point deficit against President Trump.
• 2016 – Hillary Clinton: 13-point deficit against Donald Trump.
• 2012 – Mitt Romney: 25-point deficit against President Obama.
• 2008 – John McCain: 33-point deficit against Barack Obama.
• 2004 – John Kerry: 16-point deficit against President George W. Bush.
In every case, the candidate with the more enthusiastic voter base has won.
Will this year be different? It’s hard to see how that can be the case when one is set to lose every battleground state.
