Particulate masks just stop the stuff that would have fallen out of the air in a couple of minutes anyway (and eventually be coughed up – that's the function of mucus) and don't stop the finer stuff that would have remained suspended until there is a thick "cake" on the particulate mask that makes it hard to breathe.

No. Their rate of infection should be dropping … THAT is the result of prophylactic (vs therapeutic) use. Keep in mind that the tests, themselves, appear to have been deliberately infected during manufacture and are themselves responsible for a large percentage of infections.
There is some TRULY shitty "science" being fobbed off on the citizens of the world by the lab-coated priests.
