Dear POTUS,
This was the conversation in my vehicle today:
11 yr old Child: "I have to write an essay today about any person. Can you tell me what Donald Trump is doing down on the border?
"You writing about Donald Trump?"
"Yes, and I need to know about the trade deal with China. And the one with Mexico."
(astonishment) "You mean NAFTA?? Where he is gonna renegotiate….I mean…well, renegotiate means he's gonna…"
"I know, get us a fair deal."
We had a nice conversation about your accomplishments.
Mr. President, we dont talk much politics in our home, sir, and we dont have TV other than Netflix and Youtube. I try to let them be children as long as I can; they will learn life's realities soon enough. I have no idea where he heard about those things, but I was proud of him. Apparently, Presidential news is hot topic in the 4th grade. :-)
