Actually, it is also because Canadians are completeky dependent on the U.S. economically also. Manufacturing and most business is nearthe U.S. border. Without American companies providing most Canadian jobs and buying most Canadian products in cross-border trade, there wouldnt be a Canada. Literally the U.S. supports its healthcare (pays most of the employment taxes)…No U.S. money, no healthcare in Canada.
