Some date of capture and source would be helpful here. All Covid data now highly suspect, as so much gerrymandering of results has taken place.
In large populations we should see far more convergence, even allowing for the characteristics of highly urbanized locations. What we see looks like data fuckery, more than honest reporting.
Note how California results significantly lower the average for the D-Gov states. We still don’t have a good explanation for CA: did it or did it not have an outbreak in 2019 that was not attributed to a novel cause, but conferred reasonably widespread immunity?
So much is still a mystery, which is a fucking disgrace given the time and money spent on this shit.
