My daughter’s choir director, a talented and lovely lefty, sent me THIS VIDEO as her “short answer” as to why it is “very tenuous” that we will be able to return to choir in the fall. PLEASE PSY-OPS ANONS, WEIGH IN ON THIS. The man’s demeanor, the music, the RANDOM WEIRD FILTER PLACED ON THE EDGES OF THE VIDEO in the middle of it— it’s like a spoof but she sent it in earnest. And I can’t even ask her over for coffee to try to talk to her about the data because of the damn lockdown. Who produced this? Who is this guy? What are these techniques? Why do they repulse me but work on lefty choir lady? Is this happening in many specialized disciplines? How on earth did this type of brainwashing activity show up as authoritative direction for sweet local choirs? I know I’m REEEEE right now but this is my daughter’s choir director sending me this.
