Reference this Q post. "Night. Birds." Birds = Aircraft. Night Bird = F117 Night hawks. When we project force we do so by parking these and B-2 Spirits close to the enemy as a reminder that we do not fuck around. Sure they can attack but they are also used a lot of times for LIDAR terrain mapping for silent recon. It may also be a reference for [2] Battalions / Flight companies from the 160th SOAR Nightstalkers carrying unnamed SF units in to the fray. I bring this up (and in last bread) since I saw three B-2s yesterday afternoon in formation. Seeing one is rare but 3 NEVER happens. My prayers go out to all involved, something is definitely going on. God's love to each of you.
Planefags take note, that is a C-12 ELINT bird I have been mentioning for a while. (RC-12 and Beechcraft 350s as well) And that article is just getting the news, the EMARSS and Guardrail platforms started retrofits and retooling over 3 years ago. :)
