I don't know much about bioethics, or at least how it's practiced today, but isn't it unethical to test HCQ by giving some people HCQ and others a placebo?

I mean, giving someone a placebo ensures that he would continue to suffer from Kungflu with no medical therapies offered other than palliative care.

Maybe a more ethical test would involve giving some HCQ and others some other possible treatment like Remdisvir.
