And if you dig into a statement that is untrue
You can usually find the truth that it is hiding

Learn about polyphasic sleep.
And if that is too complex for you
Then at least start doing biphasic sleep
Having a 1.5 hour nap at the right part of the sleep cycle
Can let you be both a night owl and an early riser
And do it without shifting your cycle.
The two keys are
a) learn how long your natural sleep cycle is. Average is 1.5 hours
b) Go to sleep for the nap, as soon as you feel tired. Stop what you are doing, because you will be back in 1.5 hrs. Set the alarm and go sleep. You will find that it is EASY to wake when the alarm goes off because you have completed a full natural sleep cycle.

Then file charges or sue for damages
