Remember back at the very end of January when Donald Trump, best president ever, tweeted that they were on top of the virus with the best minds 24/7 ?
I didn't either so I figured I repost the image somoene made of the tweet at the time.
and a pic of Dan and POTUS with a flag.
This is a very subtle meme.
Bob Ross was a very gifted man who could show you how not just to paint, but how to be calm and sweet.
is the launch on perminant hold?
With rain like that often a launch will get a hold.
at some point the crew says 'OK, it's not going to clear' and they postpone.
will that happen today?
Or is it good to go, T-minus . . .
did they do a count down? What was the hold time for the count down?
Someone else posted it and I saved it back in Februrary. I don't think I really 'got it' at the time. But waiting for this launch I decided to review old saves and there it was and I keked so I was OK, sharing this!
TY. I can stop watching for an hour!
The sound track for the feed is playing through my speakers and it's wind or whitenoise.

the flag in this Victoria falls Supreme Court architecture mashup is from a 1936 photograph so it's a 48 star version typical during that era.
the one in the photo of POTUS and Dan?
looks like that kind too. I was scrolling through so saves and so those both and thought 'they are a photogenic duo, and I'll post this.'
if you need details of the day and the flag, and who the photographer was, I'm just a fan boy of them and have no access to those archival details.
Ah, a Master Sargent, a truly gifted person with some issue, typically dyslexia or something that is easy to fix and a brillient man is kept back for stupid reasons but then they let him be a Master Sargent because someone wise gets-it that just because this guy wasn't a legacy of some chum of the guys from Ohio, he's worthy of being a leader of men. A master sargent is typically a leader of men.
no opinions but it may have to do with buffering systems that the body has that protect us against cascade effects of either acid or alkolid over exposure.
those systems may already be on their edge.
for me the virus didn't hit me like a brick till I had some very spicey food. it was a kind of food poisoning.
I felt a rash all on my insides from my throat to my bowls and then I had some bicarbonate which . . . made it all give pain at once. It's called cramps. I relate it to a similar effect as poison ivy exposure.
it hurts a real lot but it passes. and if you leave it alone it doesn't do anything
if you get an over exposure to certain plant oils you need medicine to rescind the chemical effect. A doctor who is a chemist is necessary in this case.
bicarbonate is the wrong thing to take if you have an internal rash.
Staff Sargents are the unsung heroes of USAF
prove me wrong
(I only say prove me wrong to make is sound provocative, I know you can't)
wait, I'm singing their praise right now and proving myself wrong.
what kind of song do we write about a staff sargent?
Let's Paint!
Let's construct!
Build a ground station in less than a morning's shift.
tear it down for the flood that comes in the early A.M.
set it all back up before noon.
pack it all up and haul it across the country in three days, photo opportunities for the Air Men at towers along the way.
Midnight coffee
all night truck ride.
bumps and stumps.
block house
keys to the block house . . .
that is the Master Staff Sargent, USAF
when we loaded trucks all the men helped, it didn't matter what their status was. EVeryone stepped and fetched. We didn't have that rank has it's privledge thing going on between the civilians and the airmen.
A decent person born into a connected family takes the family chair, as is their born-in responsibility, and does right for his family, and for the rest of society.
they don't say 'run away run away this is imperfect I can not speak or work with immoral people'.
they do what is right for their family, their town, their state, their region, their country, their world.
