Canada Gives $800 Million to Bill Gates’ Vaccine Program Following Lobbying Campaign

Bill Gates used proxies to lobby Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to push mass vaccination on Canadian citizens and the vaccine agenda. The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation co-founded GAVI, the Global Vaccine Alliance, which hired lobbying firm Crestview Strategy. Two lobbyists visited the Canadian Government on at least 19 occasions since 2018 on various “health” matters on behalf of GAVI, according to records in the Office of the Lobbying Commissioner.

Canada is now sending nearly $800 million to the GAVI Vaccine Alliance, a Gates’ affiliated organization that works with the WHO and the UN’s World Bank to push vaccines globally, and the Global Polio Eradication Initiative, an organization created by the WHO. The stated goal is to expand GAVI’s reach in vaccinations by advancing sexual and reproductive health programs. GAVI aims to bring new COVID vaccines, when available, to vulnerable countries.

Partners in Health, a contact tracing company, lists both George Soros’ Open Society Foundation and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation as official partners and supporters who contributed $1 million or more, according to a 2015 annual report. Chelsea Clinton serves on Partners in Health’s Board of Trustees. Partners in Health was founded by Jim Kim, who is now the president of the UN World Bank and Paul Farmer, whose health programs have been funded in the past by Soros.

Democrat Representative Bobby Rush introduced HR 6666, the COVID-19 TRACE Act, that authorizes the federal government to grant approved entities the right to conduct contact tracing for coronavirus at “individuals’ residences.” Contact tracing involves investigators tracing every interaction that infected people have.

Partners in Health was recently selected by Massachusetts governor Charlie Baker to conduct Coronavirus “contact tracing,” a process that involves teams of investigators finding out who infected people have come into contact with. The group is already “training and deploying hundreds of contact tracers.” Some citizens fear the potential for mass surveillance posed by contact tracing, especially in light of a Democrat-introduced bill in Congress to authorize contact tracing “at individuals’ residences.” Partners In Health’s involvement will not assuage many fears, considering the group has received funding from George Soros and Bill Gates organizations and counts Chelsea Clinton on its board of trustees.

The US has a little more than 4% of the world population. Yet, throughout the end of April and through mid-May, the US claimed to have about a third of the reported coronavirus cases and a quarter to a third of reported death worldwide. What accounts for these amazing numbers?

By any measure, the US has a much better healthcare system than the Philippines (PI). The country has about a third of the US population, at 106.7 million. Just to pick a date, on May 12, 2020 the PI reported 11,086 cases and 726 deaths, according to Worldometer. This represents 213 cases per million residents, and 7 per million deaths. The US reported 4,187 cases per million, and 247 deaths per million, 20 and 30 times higher than the PI. The PI also had variable lockdowns, as did the US, with Manila reportedly facing the strictest measures, similar to some areas in the US.

Big banks subpoenaed in federal probe of possible coronavirus loan fraud

Some big banks have received grand jury subpoenas as part of a federal investigation into possible fraud involving the $660 billion coronavirus emergency loan program for small businesses, according to a new report Saturday.

Two sources told Reuters that the Justice Department had sent subpoenas to major banks, but did not name the institutions. JPMorgan Chase & Co., Citigroup Inc, Bank of America Corp. and Wells Fargo & Co. are four of the mega-banks participating in the program.

Under the program, small businesses hit by the pandemic can apply for a government-backed loan that can be forgiven if at least 75% covers payroll costs. Lawmakers, however, have expressed concern that the money would attract fraudsters.

Companies found to have lied to secure loans could face prosecution, Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin has said. The Justice Department began investigating the program last month. Criminal charges have been brought against some borrowers.

There are an estimated 1,320 moderate earthquakes in the world each year. Tremors with a magnitude of more than 5.0 can cause damage to buildings and other structures.

A 5.9-magnitude earthquake was reported 29 kilometres west of Grande Cache, Canada with the epicentre lying at a depth of nine kilometres. The seismic activity was first reported by the US Geological Survey, which later deleted the statement from its website.

YouTube bans John Piper's "Coronavirus and Christ" audiobook for "violating community guidelines"

The audiobook version of John Piper's new book "Coronavirus and Christ" has been removed by YouTube for "violating community standards" roughly five weeks after it was published on the platform.

The latest work by prolific author, speaker, and theologian Piper, "Coronavirus and Christ" was released for free on April 8, offering "six biblical answers to the question, What is God doing through the coronavirus?—reminding us that God is at work in this moment in history."

Senior Saudi royal detained and held incommunicado

Prince Faisal bin Abdullah al-Saud, a son of Saudi Arabia’s late monarch King Abdullah, has been in incommunicado detention since the end of March, according to a prominent rights group.

Human Rights Watch (HRW), citing a source with ties to the royal family, said on Saturday the prince was arrested by security forces on March 27 while self-isolating because of the coronavirus pandemic at a family compound northeast of the capital, Riyadh.

In 2017, the prominent member of the royal family had been rounded up and detained at a luxury hotel in Riyadh, in what was billed as an attempt to combat corruption among the higher echelons of the kingdom’s bureaucracy. Prince Faisal, a former head of the Saudi Red Crescent Society, was released later that year.

There was no immediate comment by Saudi authorities to the HRW’s report.

Earlier in March, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman (MBS) had launched a sweeping crackdown against senior royals and security officers, according to several reports, in what observers saw as the latest effort by the heir to the throne and de facto ruler to consolidate power in the kingdom.

Two of the royal family’s most influential members, Prince Ahmed bin Abdul Aziz, the youngest brother of King Salman, and Mohammed bin Nayef, the former crown prince and interior minister, were targeted in the crackdown.

Italy’s leftist government grants 600,000 illegal migrants amnesty

Italy’s leftist-establishment government earlier this week moved ahead with plans to grant amnesty to 600,000 illegal migrants living in the country, despite widespread opposition.

As Teresa Bellanova, Italy’s pro-mass migration Agriculture Minister, signed the bill which granted six-month residency permits to illegal migrants working in the agricultural and domestic sectors into law on Wednesday, she cried tears of joy, Il Giornale reports.

The new decree has faced considerable criticism from inside and outside of Italy’s ruling coalition. The Five Star Movement, which rules alongside the Left-wing establishment Democratic Party (PD), had initially lobbied for one month residency permits to be granted to the migrant laborers, but failed to impress their will upon the seemingly more powerful PD.

Outside of the ruling coalition, Right-wing populists like Matteo Salvini of the League Party and Giorgia Meloni of Brothers of Italy (FdI) argued that the Agriculture Minister’s tears were entirely misplaced.

Pundits are cheering. A trio of former law enforcement and judicial officials saluted Sullivan in the Washington Post, chirping, “The Flynn case isn’t over until a judge says it’s over.” Yuppie icon Jeffrey Toobin of CNN and the New Yorker, one of the #Resistance crowd’s favored legal authorities, described Sullivan’s appointment of Judge John Gleeson as “brilliant.” MSNBC legal analyst Glenn Kirschner said Americans owe Sullivan a “debt of gratitude.”

One had to search far and wide to find a non-conservative legal analyst willing to say the obvious, i.e. that Sullivan’s decision was the kind of thing one would expect from a judge in Belarus. George Washington University professor Jonathan Turley was one of the few willing to say Sullivan’s move could “could create a threat of a judicial charge even when prosecutors agree with defendants.”

Each eligible person would receive $1,200 stimulus checks, up to $6,000 per household, according to the newly released legislation.

For example, a married couple filing taxes jointly would receive $2,400. They would get an additional $1,200 for each of their dependents, up to three, for a maximum benefit of $6,000.

CNN correspondent Kaitlan Collins has been accused of Covid-19 theatrics, as she was caught hastily removing her face mask after a White House briefing. Collins has criticized Donald Trump for not wearing masks in public.

Despite the president's 'masks are optional' policy at White House briefings, the CNN journalist, like most of her colleagues, wore one during the press event on Friday.

However, when Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany walked off the podium, Collins wasted no time in taking off the protective item as she brushed past other people in the room - a social distancing faux pas in the age of coronavirus.

Her seemingly contradictory behavior caught the eye of conservative commentators. "She thought cameras were off, so mask goes off," joked Mike Cernovich.
