Never took the ASVAB. At AFEES I got 98 on the GQT and 224 on the Navy SBTB. Still flunked the physical with a very slightly high pulse rate. Four beats per minute.
Clue: Vietnam was winding down and (I believe) they didn't want guys who would spend the whole time in school.
