An explosion in downtown Los Angeles on Saturday afternoon left multiple buildings on fire in what the Los Angeles Fire Department described as a major emergency.
The blast ocurred at 327 E. Boyd Street, and the fire had spread to nearby buildings, according to LAFD.
It was unclear if there were casualities, but the LAFD said on Twitter that up to 10 firefighters were “down”
