From comment section on Zhedge:

"The Syrian Arab Army has reportedly captured 11 British special forces during the liberation of east Ghouta. They were captured as two groups in separate villages (say 6 per group, less one escaped/dead). Not that long ago the previous Brit Prime Minister announced that he was sending 6 SAS into Syria to fight ISIS (yeah right - fight with more like) so the numbers sort of fit a couple of SAS fighting units.

On 18 March, the Russian spokeswoman announced they had a surprise for the British. A few days later, Sergei 'By the Rules' Lavrov announced the war in Syria was no longer a proxy war (ISIS as proxy) but NATO troops were actually involved fighting with the terrorists. The Syrians are holding the SAS members individually in separate secure military sites to pre-empt the USUK accidentally converting them to collateral damage. Reports from Syria suggest SF from other NATO countries have also been captured. The NATO forces have supposedly giving targetting information to the terrorists for their mortar/MLRS/ballistic missile attacks on Damascus. The targets included a school, market, hospital and the Russian Embassy. The Skirpal incident may be an attempt to pressure Russia to release the Brit prisoners. That wont work as they are held by the SAA and they won't fall for this after doing so at Aleppo. Interesting times."
