Wifeanon works in nursing home.
They've lost over 40 patients. I Will save the issue of still admitting covid positive people for another post.
She says many respiratory issue patients did better than she would have thought. She was surprised to realise it was diabetics who were the most fatalities…BUT…only those taking INSULIN - younger and older alike.
(Diabetics who were using diet only to treat are recovering fine/not as affected.)
Those on insulin are almost all gone she said. I realise it's not a huge sample size but thought it was worth a mention. Not sure if this is an isolated situation or if anyone else has any info on insulin/covid connection.
