LEt me relate the most intense dream about the Heart of America, skilled people building with pride and skill! It felt wonderful and real!
Woman-owned manufacturing business, building a new larger shop in an existing warehouse, using materials that they could buy from nearby businesses.
I was just a newbie, apprenticing as a helper. I protested that I was not doing enough but friendly tolerant guy assured me that I was learning and helping.
Workforce was a team of men and women, all humble yet brilliantly competent and highly skilled and dedicated to the hardworking, no-nonsense woman who owned the business.
Everyone had a trade or skill and the down to earth, yet focused dedication was inspiring! People were low key but having fun working all night to build a new small scale factory.
We worked until the dawn of the new day and the place was transformed into a complete new fabrication and assembly line in an already existing warehouse!
Got a clear message that, despite the constantly negative media hacking to demoralize us, the core values of skill, hard work and high standards STILL EXIST, that made America the powerhouse where dreams could be BUILT!
With the USMCA deal and POTUS driving medical supply chains out of China and back into the US, there is hope that America can return to making things, the best things, in small to medium businesses and back to taking pride in making the best things, so conservatively! (Kinks song reference)
