Ya’ll take a moment to red dis shit, ya here!

1eyedbassit here, One of the most pronounced attacks I see on this board is the god equation. It is a blaring problem that needs attention. So, let 1eye give y’all a lesson review of the players in the Bible so you will know which dudes story they are pimping in dem memes. So, to begin, the Bible includes The Old Testes which is Jewish history, very bloody with god commands. It also has prophets who speak of a chosen one identified with proof of profit when Jesus arrives. Dat starts da New testes, so, Jesus says some stuff, called his ministries, den he died. Then Saul/Paul/peter and John write sum stuff after him and it ends with the book of Revelation. Now, you might be called a Pauline if you believe yer a sinner and Jesus is yer savior cuz you be flawed. Paul’s gospel is preached most everywhere in the Christian nation with the exception of Catholics and they refer to peter to arrive at the same result and they both luv to praise and argue about him. So, is that it 1eye? No, not at all cuz we gotz to read our Jesus. So, what did Jesus say? Well, Jesus starts his ministries in Matthew while talking to the disciples of John…yes John the Baptist’s disciples. Now, Jesus spoke to us in parables cuz they convey truth in understanding so, here goes. The first parable is the new cloth on the old coat….Wat, wait, but muh sower 1eye! Good catch Pepe, see, the parable of the sower is the 11th parable in chronological order (as he spoke them) yet it is mentioned before, during and after his parables. But why 1eye? Well Pepe, that is why we are here, to read the parables as Jesus delivered them versus ((their)) version. As written, the story progress thru a change in writer from Jesus to Acts to the gospel of Paul. Paul, a Jew, tells a new story where the followers of Jesus are flawed and not worthy of heaven, but if we believe in dis guy Jesus, he will take care of us, aka mental, physical and spiritual slavery. This is So confusing 1eye! I know Pepe. I am not here to hash out the Paul, John, Peter, Abraham or Moses; I am here to do a in progress review of Jesus’s message. So, the first parable, “you can not put a new piece of cloth on an old coat, for it will surly tear away after the first wash”, er sumthun like dat. Now, using our super powers of hindsight; who in the New Testament reverts the attention from the new cloth (Jesus) back to the old coat of many colors aka Judaism? Paul! Very good Pepe. So, right off the bat, Jesus says, ignore dis dude and his story cuz it’s a Trap! Wow, mind blown 1eye. Yea, AND, the second parable is the new wine (Jesus) in and old wine skin…”surly you would not put new wine (Jesus) in an old wine skin cuz it the old wine skin will burst!” Now, who takes us on the spiritual journey, aka the old wineskin, after Paul is done? John of Patmos! Good job Pepe, so proud of you! Now, two parables, two warnings to avoid their story when considering Jesus’s message. Wow, that is a heavy sink to let in 1eye…I know Pepe, let’s take a break and when I come back we can take a look at some more or answer some questions.

Wait, wait 1eye! You can’t just drop THAT and leave!? Well Pepe, to your overlords credit, “it’s been in your face this whole time.”

Remember Pepe, the end is not for everyone, please stand on a foundation of love in all matters. God is and always has been with you Pepe, Yull be fine.

DJ, please spin Nazareth’s “Please don’t Judas me,” much obliged.

Parables of Christ in chronological order

Note, this page is for the list of parables in chronological order as Jesus said them. We can trace his journey thru the events of the new testes to arrive at this point or use swamp Dave’s list. Swamp meet Dave’s comments are worth reading, but flawed by the lack of super power hindsight.

Now, back to your regular duties…
