American in Korea Anon here…
Just FYI, USFK forces are tentatively scheduling health force protection reduction to 'level B' on Wednesday, May 20.
This is good news because the US Army has had to have tighter restrictions on US personnel in Korea than the actual Koreans. We do have to respect host country rules.
TL;DR: Korean gov't wanted to come onto all US bases and test everyone for the Wuhan virus. US gov't basically said "FU" and so all bases have had to be in an ultratight lockdown status.
I (civilian) haven't had a haircut in 3 months. No outside (minimal) contact with Koreans.
Anyway, possible good news for American forces overseas. Yay.
