Part 1/2

>>9212171 (/pb) …………… Q4257 "Review of the Unauthorized Disclosures of Former National Security Agency Contractor EDWARD SNOWDEN"

Anons, after reviewing pages 20, 21, 22 and 23, I went ahead and read the remainder of the declassified review conducted by the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence (HPSCI).

I think the picture can be painted much bigger.

I'll preface with what were to me the most important notables from pages 20-23, AFTER reading the entire document, as these will tie in with the thesis of this anon post, which is:

Hollywood and the MSM were totally complicit in pushing a FAKE NARRATIVE of Snowden's actions and his motives in order to brainwash the public, to trick millions of people into believing that his only actions were to steal domestic surveillance tools and that his only motivation was to defend the privacy of American citizens.

This anon's notables from pages 20-23:

  1. The media falsely reported that Snowden stole what turns out to be only a tiny fraction, less than one tenth of one percent, of the 1.5 million documents that he stole. Why would the media lie about the number? To cover up the fact that what he stole was almost entirely information on the military that America's adversaries wanted! The media bastards knew that the narrative of 'protect American's privacy' would not work if the public was told he stole 1.5 MILLION documents. Such a stack of paper would reach 3 miles high. There is no way that there could be that much on ONE project, xkeyscore. The public would likely become suspicious that Snowden stole a LOT MORE than 'hundreds of documents about xkeyscore'. So the media lied and covered up what he in fact stole.

  1. The HPSCI review discovered that the media likely has ALL 1.5 million documents. This is the evidence that the MSM COVERED UP the fact that Snowden stole and allowed the governments of Russia, China, North Korea, EVERY adversarial government, to have secret information about American soldiers operating abroad, risking their lives and jeopardizing the safety and security of every American citizen, contrary to the narrative he tried to help us. What he did made our deaths more likely, not less likely.

  1. The Committee found that Snowden shared what he stole with the Russian government. The same media that pushed "Russia collusion delusion" for over 3 years to you and I, pushed Snowden as a darling even though the media knew he illegally transmitted national security secrets to the Russian government. The lamestream media's narrative that Trump was bad and he should be removed from office for acting as an agent of Russia, is the SAME media that protected Snowden who gave the Russian government secret intelligence on America's national security. Sick, forked tongued two faced bastards!

The Executive Summary included 5 key conclusions (which are screencapped here)

"First, Edward Snowden caused tremendous damage to national security, and the vast majority of documents he stole have nothing to do with programs impacting individual privacy interests - they instead pertain to military, defense and intelligence programs of great interest to America's adversaries"

"A review of the materials Snowden compromised makes clear that he handed over secrets that protect American troops overseas and secrets that provide vital defenses against terrorists and nation states."

"Over the past three years, the IC and the Department of Defense (DOD) have carried out separate damage assessments, with differing methodologies - of the damage Snowden caused. Out of an abundance of caution, the DOD reviewed all 1.5 million documents Snowden removed. The IC, by contrast, has carried out a damage assessment for only a small subset of the documents. The Committee is concerned that the IC does not plan to asses the damage of the vast majority of documents Snowden removed."

Part 2/2

"Second, Snowden was not a whistleblower."

"Contrary to his public claims that he notified numerous NSA officials about what he believed to be illegal intelligence collection, the Committee found no evidence that Snowden took any official effort to express concerns about US intelligence activities - legal, moral or otherwise - to any oversight officials within the US government, despite avenues for him to do so. Snowden was aware of these avenues."

"Despite Snowden's later public claims that he would have faced retribution for voicing concerns about intelligence activities, the Committee found that laws and regulations in affect at the time of Snowden's actions afforded him protection. The Committee routinely receives disclosures from IC contractors pursuent to the Community Whistleblower Protection Act of 1998 (IC WPA). If Snowden had been worried about possible retaliation for voicing concerns about NSA activities, he could have made a disclosure to the Committee. He did not. Nor did Snowden remain is the United States to face the legal consequences of his actions, contrary to the tradition of civil disobedience he professes to embrace. Instead, he fled to China and Russia, two countries whose governments place scant value on their citizen's privacy or civil liberties - and whose intelligence services aggressively collect information on both the United States and their own citizens."

"Third, two weeks before Snowden began mass downloads of classified documents, he was reprimanded after engaging in a workplace spat with NSA managers."

"Despite Snowden's later claim that the March 2013 congressional testimony of Director of National Intelligence James Clapper was a 'breaking point' for him, these mass downloads predated Director Clapper's testimony by eight months."

"Fourth, Snowden was, and remains, a serial exaggerator and fabricator."

"A close review of Snowden's official employment records and submissions reveals a pattern of intentional lying. He claims to have left Army basic training becausd of broken legs when in fact he washed out because of shin splints. He claimed to have attained a high school equivalent when in fact he never did. He claimed to have worked at the C_A as a "senior advisor" which was a Gross exaggeration of his entry level duties as a computer technician. He also doctored his performance evaluations and obtained new positions at NSA by exaggerating his resume and stealing the answers to an employment test. In May 2013, Snowden informed his supervisor that he would be out of the office to receive treatment for his worsening epilepsy. In reality, he was on his way to Hong Kong with stolen secrets."

I think the Committee's conclusion that Snowden held but an "entry-level role as a computer technician" at the C_A is wrong, because the C_A likely lied about what he was really training for at the Farm.

"Finally, the Committee remains concerned that more than three years after the start of the unauthorized disclosures, NSA, and the IC as a whole, have not done enough to minimize the risk of another massive unauthorized disclosure."

Snowden was NOT the persona Hollywood or the Lameatream Media pushed on us with fake movies and fake interviews.

This guy was a serial liar, a C_A operative whose mission was to help the C_A's intelligence activities and harm NSA's intelligence activities, risking the lives of soldiers and risking the lives of American citizens.

Hollywood and the Lamestream Media LIED LIED LIED about who he is and what he did.
