Q&A after today's WH round table with the restaurant business heads:
John: "Attorney General Barr made a statement today saying it is unlikely there will be any criminal investigation of Barack Obama or Joe Biden…"
Barr never said it was 'unlikely there will be', what he said was
"As to President Obama and VP Biden, whatever their level of involvement, based on the information I have today, I don't expect Mr. Durham's work will lead to a criminal investigation of either man. Our concern…is focused on others."
"based on the information I have today."
Information is not static!
POTUS: "I don't think he said it quite the way you said it, I think he said 'as of this moment', I guess." […] "I'm going to let the Attorney General make all the decisions. I will say this, we have an honorable Attorney General, and he will do the honorable thing."
