Persian Gulf War: August 2, 1990 through a dateyet to be prescribed by Presidential proclamation or law. This period includes Operations Enduring and Iraqi Freedom.

I don’t know law but again, we are considered r n to be in wartime… would that change things? Not sure but seems significant somehow.
