There was a time when wearing a mask in a store was not a good idea.
It concealed the identity of criminals, thus allowing them to do crime
And one of the only way to convict someone of those types of crimes is to identify them
So, if we are all walking into stores with masks on, why did store owners spend thousands of dollars on surveillance systems for decades?
This is a classic example of authoritarian rules that actually put more people in jeopardy because of the authority's complete lack of competence along with blatant disregard to public safety, in general.
