Outrageous! Muslim Brotherhood Figure Awarded Slot on Facebook Oversight Board to Police Content

Facebook is the most dishonest company I have ever seen in my lifetime and I remember Enron. They have set up a board to police false stories. Or I should say ostensibly to police fake articles. I and others I know have received bumps from Facebook on stories that are absolutely true. But once you see the type of people they have making the decisions you will understand why.

One noteworthy choice on the elite board is Stanford Professor Pamela Karlan. You should remember her. She was one of the “expert” witnesses Jerry Nadler called in the Trump impeachment hearing. A trial I might add that featured exactly zero material witnesses. It was designed that way because the Democrats knew they lacked any evidence of wrongdoing.

At the hearing Karlan said: “I’ll just give you one example that shows you the difference between him and a king which is, the Constitution says there can be no titles of nobility. So while the President can name is son Barron, he can’t make him a baron.”

This lefty loony decides what is true and false.

How about the newest addition to the board. Her name is Tawakkol Karman and she is tied closely to the Muslim Brotherhood. Calling terrorists terrorists will now get you banned for life or beheaded or both.

Naming of Muslim Brotherhood-affiliated Yemeni Nobel Prize winner Tawakkol Karman as a member of Facebook’s first oversight board has sparked widespread public anger among opinion leaders in Arab countries, who strongly rejected the censoring by those known for their support for extremist ideology.

Social media users launched a hashtag of “#RefuseTawakulKarman” demanding the withdrawal of her appointment as she is known for her lack of neutrality as well as her extremist views. They also questioned the standards and foundations adopted by the company in appointing the leadership in Al Islah Party, the Yemeni arm of the Muslim Brotherhood.

Prominent political science professor Dr. Abdulkhaleq Abdulla, said on Twitter: “Tawakkol Karman does not deserve to be on an international council to supervise Facebook content. Hate speech and Karman are just like branches on a tree,” Abdulla said.

Emirati writer Ola Al Shaikh said, “This news is a major catastrophe, because her appointment to this position enables her to pass judgment on Facebook policies regarding the region.”

True the Vote Sues Nevada and Virginia Over Mail In Voting

True the Vote had already sued New Mexico over switching to mail in balloting only. Now, they are suing Nevada and Virginia. In Virginia, state law only allows for mail in balloting for the disabled. Ralph Northam got around that by declaring everyone in the state as disabled. That is not legal or ethical. What would he do if about two million Virginia residents all apply for disability? He has already said they are disabled.

Catherine Engelbrecht, founder of True the Vote, said:

As more and more efforts are made across the country to mandate voting by mail, True the Vote is committed to ensuring Americans’ constitutional voting rights are upheld, that their option to vote at polling places is not taken away, and that proper security measures are in place to guarantee that all eligible votes are properly counted.

All Americans should be concerned by the radical changes being made to our election processes under the guise of public health related to the COVID-19 outbreak. The sudden shift to all-mail ballots is only part of what’s happening. They are stripping essential security measures, like Voter ID laws and signature verification; sending ballots to inaccurate addresses and ineligible voters; and counting ballots received after Election Day. While implementing appropriate public health safeguards is a priority, so too must be protecting the integrity of our elections.

In Nevada, True the Vote filed a preliminary injunction to challenge the Secretary of State’s imposition of universal mail-in balloting, where ballots are mailed wholesale to every registered voter without the legally required request, and Clark County’s decision to illegally mail ballots also to inactive voters and to hire illegal ballot harvesters.

In Virginia, according to an online press release, True the Vote filed a preliminary injunction to prevent the Virginia State Board of Elections from designating everyone in Virginia as “disabled” as a way to illegally allow voters to request absentee ballots, even though current law passed by the Virginia State Assembly prevents them from doing so. The action taken will result in “disenfranchisement of voters, since Virginia election officials are not equipped with the resources needed to handle a mass influx of mail ballots, and they do not have procedures in place to guarantee that all eligible voters will receive a ballot.”
